Has this ever been implemented in Asset Explorer?
I would love to be able to track the IT budget in ServiceDesk Plus.
We can already use GL Codes in Servicedesk Plus purchasing module.
What is missing is the ability to enter a budget amount for each GL Code per month/year.
Then purchases will reduce the amount of this GL in the right period (month) when the PO is paid/closed.
This will allow to build a BVA report (Budget Versus Actual).
In my opinon 'Cost centers' allow to track for which business unit/project the expense was made, but as far as accounting and budget goes, it's the GL Code that matters.
