We have options to move the Request to Closed status when all the associated Tasks are closed. This option is available in the latest build under Admin->HelpDesk Customizer->Request Closing Rules.
Also if the Task Dependencies are set, then we cannot close the Child Task unless the Parent Task is closed. Also the notifications forTasks is available under Admin->Notification Rules->Task.
