Re : Business Rule based on Job Title

There have been a few requests of our servicedesk to create certain notifications based on title.

Such as:

Our IT Director wants to receive a special notification when a "VIP" user submits an incident. We define this based on their title typically (Managers, CEO, CFO, Directors, etc). Since i cannot create the rule based on title i am forced to create an extensive list of "requester name" filters to accomplish this and it is not dynamic, so when we get a new hire or a staff member is promoted, i need to remember to go change the business rule to include them.

Also, our support center managers which to receive alerts when one of their low level agents submits an incident so they can account for and productivity losses. Normally i would create a business rule that would filter by the title "Support Team Agent" which is standardized, but since i do not have that option i need to manually select all 300+ agents by name and constantly update it as individuals are promoted or we hire new staff. There is regular turn over here so it requires me to update the business rule manually and audit the individuals being filtered constantly.
