Did those switches get scanned or its just ipaddress that came up while scanning them?
To change the ProductType for any asset,you may need to first get the Product name of the asset and then go under Admin\Products and edit the respective Product and change the Producttype on it.Later on, if the application recognize any similar Product name it would put that under the new Product Type.
